Fran Berry booked for Music Show in Matron

ETIHAD Airways Falmouth Stakes heroine Music Show will be partnered for the first time by Fran Berry in the Coolmore Fusaichi Pegasus Matron Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday.

Richard Hughes, who has ridden the Mick Channon-trained filly on her last two starts, is booked to ride at Kempton on Saturday.

Bruce Raymond, racing manager to MusicShow's owner Jaber Abdullah, said: "There is so much racing in England on Saturday that it was too hard to find a jockey to bring over.

"We thought about a French jockey, but decided to just get the best available in Irelandand I'm a big fan of Fran Berry's."

The seven-runner field includes the first past the post in both the English and Irish 1,000 Guineas, with the Dermot Weld-trained Bethrah and Henry Cecil-trained Jacqueline Quest, who lost her race in the stewards' room, in the line-up.

Spacious is the only representative of the older generations while the field is completed by Lillie Langtry, Gile Na Greine and Hen Night.
