Evan Williams: fined£3,000
PICTURE: Mark CranhamWilliams was fined £3,000 and conditional Fahy suspended for 14 days (March 22-April 4) after the stewards found them in breach.
Whatdoyoucallit, one of three Williams horses in the race, was banned from running for 40 days, beginning on March 11.
Stewards' secretary Simon Cowley said: "We felt, even allowing for the fact that the horse was having his first run over hurdles, Fahy did notask for sufficient effort."
Whatdoyoucallit, sent off at 50-1, was held up, and, after a mistake at the fifth hurdle, never threatened the leaders, in a race won by the Rebecca Curtis-trained Black Jack Blues.
