Enigma Code ready to crack Tipperary rivals

ENIGMA CODE may be running out of the handicap, but trainer Damian English believes the eight-year-old has a live chance in the feature 5f handicap at Tipperary this evening (6.30).

English's last runner, Cash Or Casualty, was a winner at Naas, and the trainer is hopeful Enigma Code can keep his run of good form going, having been working well. "He did a lovely piece of work on Sunday and after that we decided to let him take his chance here despite him being out of the handicap," the trainer said.

"That's obviously a worry, but the horses have just all come right suddenly and we're hoping for a good run."

Away from Tipperary's mixed card, there is Flat action at Chepstow, Redcar and on the all-weather at Lingfield, while jumps fans are well catered for with meetings from Sedgefield and Taunton.

Chepstow: good, good to firm in places
Lingfield: standard
Redcar: good to firm
Sedgefield: good (chase), good, good to firm (hurdles)
Taunton: good to firm, good in places
Tipperary: soft, yielding in places (national hunt course),
soft, soft to heavy in places (Flat course)
