Sole Power on course for Temple Stakes repeat
SOLE POWER is on course to repeat last year's victory in Saturday's betfred.com Temple Stakes at Haydock, according to trainer Eddie Lynam.
The five-year-old, who finished second in the Group 1 Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan in March, defeated Kingsgate Native by three-quarters of a length in the race last year and the sponsors rate him a 9-2 chance to follow up on Saturday.
He was among 19 acceptors on Monday and Lynam reported him to be on course to line up for the 5f contest.
The trainer said: "The plan, ground permitting, is for Sole Power to go back to Haydock Park for the betfred.com Temple Stakes on Saturday. If the forecast is correct, conditions should be fine for him.

"The horse has put on a good bit of weight since he came back from Dubai and he seems in very good form. His work has been good.
"We have to go and look for a jockey for the horse now. I have to speak to him, but I would imagine that Johnny [Murtagh] will have to ride for John Oxx at the Curragh on the same day."
Bated Breath heads the betting at 4-1 with Betfred, who offer 7-1 about Tangerine Trees and Prohibit while Bapak Chinta and Masamah are available at 10-1.
