Crystal Moments seeking hat-trick in Sirenia

CRYSTAL MOMENTS could bid to take her winning run to three in the Toteswinger Sirenia Stakes at Kempton on Saturday.

Ed Dunlop's filly has won three of her four racecourse appearances to date but would be stepping into Pattern company for the first time in the Group 3 event.

Her only defeat came on her second start at Doncaster where she finished a close fourth behind Vicky Haigh's Rosabee, form which looks a lot stronger now.

"She's a sweet little filly who carried a lot of weight to win last time in a nursery," said Dunlop.

"She's not a flamboyant filly, she'll probably step up in trip before long.

"We'll keep an eye on the race. We wouldn't normally run a filly against the colts but we know she acts on the surface so it's under consideration.

"We were amazed she got beaten at Doncaster on her second run but on the face of it now, it doesn't look so disappointing!

"That is the plan anyway, we'll see how she is tomorrow."
