Injury may end Masamah's Flying Childers hopes

ED DUNLOP'S unbeaten Masamah has met with a minor setback which is likely to rule him out of the Flying Childers at Doncaster next week.

The exciting juvenile may have shown one or two wayward tendencies in his short to career to date, but an easy victory on his debut at York was followed up by an even more authoritative display at Lingfield.

"He was going to go for the Flying Childers," said Dunlop, adding: "However, he had a slight hamstring issue.
"It's nothing very serious, it has been treated and is now OK but it has just put him out for a bit and he will probably miss Doncaster.

"He's in the Mill Reef (September 20) so we'll see how we get on. There are other options, he's in the Middle Park if we wanted to fly high.

"He's not lame by any means, just a bit sore, but it held him up enough for him to miss Doncaster."
