France: Vision D'Etat is on course to make his first start since finishing down the field in the Dubai World Cup in March when he lines up for the Group 3 Prix Gontaut-Biron at Deauville on Saturday.
Trained by Eric Libaud, Vision D'Etat failed to adapt to the Tapeta surface at Meydan, and eventually finished 12th of 14 behind the winner Gloria De Campeao.
The son of Chichicastenango then underwent intensive veterinary examinations and has since been given time to recover from his trip at Libaud's base in the west of France.
"I think he is now back to his best form," Libaud said on Tuesday. "After his problems in Dubai it wasn't easy but he is now in very good health."
The four-time Group 1 winner will be running at the seaside track for the first time for owners Jacques Detre and Libaud's wife Vicky.
