Spencer booked for Toast Of New York in Classic
JAMIE SPENCER, who will no doubt have an enviable book of rides for his boss Sheikh Fahad Al Thani at Meydan on World Cup night this month, has picked up another nice mount after Jamie Osborne confirmed the jockey would partner his UAE Derby challenger Toast Of New York.
Well regarded by Osborne, the son of Thewayyouare has won his last two starts at Wolverhampton by 12 and 16 lengths.

Spencer rode the colt for the first of those wins in September and was also aboard when the pair finished second over a mile at Kempton in August.
Toast Of New York is owned by Michael Buckley and is an intended runner at Meydan on March 29 when he will likely face strong opposition from the Godolphin operation, Mike de Kock's outfit and contenders from the yard of Aidan O'Brien, who has won the race for the last two years.
Osborne confirmed riding plans on Sunday morning after tweeting a picture of the three-year-old "moving well" on the Lambourn gallops.
The trainer, who rates Toast Of New York as good a horse as he has had for a long time, also has an eye on the Kentucky Derby if things go well at Meydan.
