OFFICIALS at Doncaster announced the abandonment of Thursday's card following an inspection of the track on Tuesday afternoon.
There was snow and frozen areas on the course during the inspectioon and temperatures are forecast to hit lows of -7 overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday night.
Clerk of the course Jon Pullin said: "It was 1C when we inspected but there is still a covering of snow and we are forecast to be down to -7C overnight with low daytime temperatures.
"With conditions as they are and with the forecast as severe as it is there was no prospect of racing and there really isn't much we can do about it."
