MANGO DIVA enhanced Sir Michael Stoute's impressive recent record with his runners in Ireland as she wore down Uleavemebreathless to win under jockey Johnny Murtagh.

Sent off the 7-4 favourite, Mango Diva is Stoute's fifth winner from just 11 runners between 2008 and 2013 in Ireland and became yet another big-race winner on 2013 for Murtagh.

Last year's winner Aloof attempted to make all for a second successive victory and led the runners into the home straight having set a good pace.

Entering the final two furlongs, Aloof's rivals were making heavy weather of catching the leader with Uleavemebreathless gradually inching closer to the leader.

Uleavemebreathless edged into the lead as Aloof tired but could not fend off the advances of Mango Diva, who stayed on strongly to take the prize for owners the Antoniades Family.

"I was always confident," Murtagh said. "She kind of waited when she got the front and was looking around. She is in the right hands."
