Decision on Inglis Drever career delayed
A DECISION on Inglis Drever's career has been slightly delayed due to a broken x-ray machine.
Howard Johnson's triple World Hurdle winner was due to have a scan on Monday morning to see how the injury he picked up at Newbury in November has progressed.
The County Durham trainer recently said he was slightly favouring retirement for one of the most popular horses in training, but a final decision will not be made until connections are convinced he would not return to his best.
The trainer's wife, Sue Johnson, said: "The machine that the vet was supposed to bring this morning has broken down.
"They are going to do the scan tomorrow morning now, so nothing has changed yet."
