Comply Or Die in possible Hennessy bid
GRAND NATIONAL hero Comply Or Die took centre stage at David Pipe's owner's day on Saturday when it was revealed the nine-year-old could return to action in the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup at Newbury in late November.
Pipe, who finished runner up to Paul Nicholls in last season's trainers championship, paraded a dozen of Pond House's leading lights for the core jumping season in front of over 150 owners and invited guests.
Of Comply Or Die, Pipe said: "He has come back from his summer break looking really well and, though his main aim will be another crack at Aintree, he will get entries in all the good long distance chases including the Hennessy at Newbury at the end of November."
