Wachman waits on Irish Derby for Galileo Rock

TRAINER David Wachman has yet to commit Galileo Rock to a rematch with Derby winner Ruler Of The World in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh on June 29.

The Michael O'Flynn-owned colt was a length and a half behind Ruler Of The World in third in the Investec-backed Classic at Epsom this month and could bid for revenge.

He is 7-1 to win the Irish Derby, but his participation has not been confirmed.

"He came out of Epsom fine and is in good form," Wachman told At The Races on Sunday.

"He's had an easy enough week and is definitely in the picture [for the Irish Derby]. We'll just make our minds up closer to the time.

"I'm sure he will improve as the months go by and he'll make a high-class four-year-old."

Paddy Power on Sunday trimmed Ruler Of The World to 5-4 (from 6-4) for the race.
