Keeneland: Shadwell Turf Mile Stakes (Grade 1) 1m, turf, 3yo+
COURT VISION (Rick Dutrow/Robby Albarado) stamped his ticket to the Breeders' Cup Mile with a desperate come-from-behind nose victory over outsider Karelian.
Justenuffhumor, the 7-5 favourite, suffered his first loss in seven starts on turf, finishing sixth of seven in the 1m contest on soft going.
Jockey Alan Garcia said of the Kiaran McLaughlin-trained Justenuffhumor: "He just hated the track and never had a chance. I couldn't get him closer, and when I asked him to run he had nothing."
Winning rider Robby Albarado said of Court Vision: "He was very close [to the pace] for him, within himself, doing it easy. I figured the fractions were slow and I knew this horse would finish up big and he did."
