Doncaster going expected to remain soft
LITTLE change is expected in ground conditions at Doncaster on Friday after the going was described as soft on Thursday night.
On Thursday, after morning showers, the going description was eased to softthroughout the track and, although it remained dry and largely sunny for the rest of the afternoon, clerk of the course David Williams has opted to remain with his that description.
"We've left it as it is, but it willbe updated in the morning," he said.
"The forecast for tomorrow is for 2.5mm of rain in the morning and possibly through racing, with a better day, at the moment at least, forecast for Saturday.
"More than anything I'd call it sticky ground, and I think that's what alot of the jockeys would say as well."
