SO YOU THINK will end his racing career in the summer and be retired to Coolmore Australia in time for the 2012 breeding season it was confirmed on Thursday morning.
The five-year-old's last race could come against Frankel in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown in July after which he will have to enter quarantine to return to Australia, where he won five Group 1s including two editions of the Cox Plate.
The New Zealand-bred son of High Chaparral was transferred to Aidan O'Brien early last year and has since added the Tattersalls Gold Cup, Eclipse and Red Mills Irish Champion Stakes to his big-race haul.
"So You Think will join the roster at Coolmore Australia in September at the end of his racing career, alongside Musir, Uncle Mo and Zoffany," Coolmore Stud wrote on Twitter.
So You Think was last seen finishing fourth behind Monterosso in the Dubai World Cup last month and holds entries in the Group 3 Mooresbridge Stakes at the Curragh on May 7 and the JLT Lockinge Stakes at Newbury 12 days later.
