Fairyhouse: first of two-day fixture will take place as planned

FAIRYHOUSE'S Tuesday fixture will take place as planned after the course passed its inspection scheduled for 7.30am.
The inspection had been called due to the threat of a severe overnight frost, but it was not as severe as feared.
Turf Club press officer Cliff Noone said: "Racing goes ahead, they [Fairyhouse] didn't have anything like the frost they were expecting."
The goingat the course is described as heavy and the first race is at 1.55pm.
