Middleham Park swoop for Master Of The Sea
OWNERS Middleham Park Racing added to their Cheltenham Festival team on Sunday night after completing the purchase of the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained Master Of The Sea.
The deal, believed to be worth £80,000, will see Master Of The Sea remain in training with Twiston-Davies, who also owned the six-year-old prior to the sale.

PICTURE: John Grossick (racingpost.com/photos)Revealing the news on the owners' website, a statement read: "Exciting national hunt prospect Master Of The Sea has joined the MPR ranks ahead of running at the Cheltenham Festival. After winning his last three races over hurdles, he will head to the festival in the blue and orange silks with Nigel Twiston-Davies."
Unbeaten this season, Master Of The Season has justified favouritism on his last three starts, including when a five- length winner of a class three handicap hurdle at Wincanton eleven days ago.
Nick Bradley, bloodstock manager for Middleham Park Racing, clearly has high expectations for the son of Misternando and tweeted: "Am in a position to buy what I believe to be a winner at the Cheltenham Festival 2013."
Middleham Park tasted festival success in 2011 when Royal Ascot winner Junior landed the Kim Muir Chase.
