Kalahari King: in good form for Wednesday's feature

FERDY MURPHY has issued an upbeat bulletin regarding the chances of Kalahari King in Wednesday's Seasons Holidays Queen Mother Champion chase.
A short-head second on the opening day of the festival last year, Kalahari King returned from a ten-month absence at Doncaster last month, where the nine-year-old gave weight and a comprehensive beating to his 14 rivals.
Speaking from Cheltenham on Tuesday, Murphy told Racing UK: "Everything is going to plan. We schooled him last week and Graham [Lee] was delighted.
"We thought the ground would be his undoing at Doncaster but he handled it well. He's even better on good ground and if conditions stay like they are today he must have a big chance.
"Master Minded is there to be knocked off and we will give it a good shot."
