Jessies Dream on course for Festival prep

RSA Chase second favourite Jessies Dream will continue his Cheltenham Festival preparations at Leopardstown on Sunday.

The eight-year-old landed himself and trainer Gordon Elliott a first Grade 1 win in the Bar One Racing Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse last month and was on Thursday reported on course for the Grade 2 Tote Pick Six Killiney Novice Chase.

Elliott said: "Timmy Murphy will be over to ride him againas he's retained by his owner David Johnson. This has been the plan since the Drinmore and we don't yet know whether he will run again afterwards."

Stablemate Tharawaat will not join Jessies Dream in the line up, with connections preferring a novice chase at Gowran Park on Red Mills Thyestes Chase day in two weeks.

Tijuana Dancer became the latest gamble for Sunday's feature, the MCR Hurdle, having been cut to 13-2 (from 8) by Stan James.
