Arkle fancy Overturn declared for Doncaster
OVERTURN, the general second favourite behind Simonsig for the Racing Post Arkle, will have his second start over fences at Doncaster on Wednesday.
Last season's Champion Hurdle runner-up impressed on his chasing debut at Sandown in November, but has been absent since as trainer Donald McCain has waited for better ground for the nine-year-old.
Owned by Tim Leslie, he is a short as 5-1 with Coral for the Arkle, but can be backed at 7-1 elsewhere.
Overturn faces Conquisto, Wiesentraum, Attaglance and What Er Say in Doncaster's 2m3f novice chase on ground - described on Tuesday - as good to soft.
