TrainerWillie Mullins, who had yet to decide whether Mourad would go for the handicap or the Ladbrokes World Hurdle the following day, said on Sunday morning: "He has bruised a foot and is a doubt for both races."
Mullins has also confirmed that Citizen Vic will run in Wednesday's RSA Chase with Ruby Walsh in the saddle.
The winner of the Grade 1 Dr P.J. Moriarty Novices' Chase on his penultimate start had been set to bypass the festival for the Powers Gold Cup at Fairyhouse until stablemate Uimhiraceathair was pulled out of the meeting.
He is a general 16-1 best-price for the novice event.
