Master shares Dipper favouritism with Thriller
THE bottleneck at the top of the betting for the TIGMI Travel Dipper Novices' Chase at Cheltenham eased slightly on Saturday morning as bookmakers trimmed Master Of The Hall into joint-favouritism with Mr Thriller.
On Friday evening the congested market had seen Medermit, Master Of The Hall, Mr Thriller and Reve De Sivola made co-favourites at 5-1 in Bet365's market for the Grade 2 while other firms struggled between them to decide on a marketleader.
But on Saturday morning Ladbrokes, Paddy Power, Skybet and Blue Square made Mr Thriller and Master Of The Hall 9-2 joint-favourites for the 2m5f contest.
Mr Thriller will be making his second start over fences in Saturday's race after falling on his debut, and his trainer David Pipe is in no doubt about the quality of the race.

"It looks like a March race come early," he said. "He was running a good race until unluckily falling last time and it doesn't seem to have dented his confidence. He'd probably prefer softer ground but deserves to take his chance."
Tony McCoy warned against punters jumping to conclusions about the fact that he would be doing 10st 2lb on Sway in the race. The recently crowned BBC Sports Personality of the Year admitted in his Daily Telegraph column on Saturday that those statistics would normally be a "strong hint".
But McCoy, whose mount is a best priced 13-2, said: "I've had 'man-flu' since Christmas and I am very light for me, so I thought I might as well take the ride. Obviously I still think it is worth the effort and she has a good chance, but she's no certainty."
