Adam Beschizza, rider of runner-up Double Handful, used his whip nine times. He was banned for seven days.
Eddery, clearly distressed, limited his comment to "racing has gone".
At Wolverhampton two more bans were handed out.
Julie Burke was suspended for five days (November 4, 5, 9-11) for hitting Dream Lioness when out of contention in the 6f maiden.
Nicky Mackay was later banned for seven days after hitting Beach Babe nine times en route to victory in the 1m1½f handicap.
He said: "I felt if I hadn't given her those two extra hits I wouldn't have got there. I'll take it on the chin."
