While still representing Channon, Samitar was third on her US debut in a Grade 2 event at Saratoga in July.
Her rivals in Saturday's $300,000 contest include former David Wachman-trained Tannery (Alan Goldberg/Jose Lezcano), a Group 3 winner at The Curragh in July who breaks from the rail, plus Ashland Stakes winner Karlovy Vary (Rusty Arnold/Julien Leparoux), who gets 6lb from Samitar.
Michael Tabor's Ciao Bella (Todd Pletcher/John Velazquez) is making her Graded-stakes debut for her powerful connections after winning two of her previous three starts, all of which were on dirt.
Trophy Wife (Shug McGaughey/Eddie Castro) is another daughter of Giant's Causeway having her first outing in Graded company after winning a Saratoga optional claimer.
