Longsdon Kim Muir hopes aimed elsewhere
TRAINER Charlie Longsdon has Far More Serious and Palypso De Creek engaged in the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Chase at Cheltenham, but warned on Wednesday that both are likely to take up alternative engagements.
The pair are available to back around the 16-1 mark, but Longsdon said: "Far More Serious will run in the four-mile National Hunt Chase. He'd get taken off his feet in the Kim Muir and everyone who rides him says he's a Scottish National type.
"Palypso De Creek will run in the Pertemps. He's rated 139 over fences, but I think he's just as good over hurdles and he's in the Pertemps off 134. He's on ten stone and I think he's well handicapped. Both horses will enjoy goodish ground."
Longsdon also intends to run Songe in the Vincent O'Brien County Hurdle.
