AUSTRALIA'S queen of speed, Black Caviar, was among 57 sprinters unveiled on Wednesday as the initial entries for the Darley July Cup at Newmarket.
Unbeaten in 20 career starts, Black Caviar heads three entries from Australia, after she was joined in the list by fellow Group 1 winners Foxwedge and Ortensia.
Also featured in a cosmopolitan entry list for the July 14 contest is Golden Shaheen winner Krypton Factor, trained in Bahrain by Fawzi Nass.
Freddy Head, who was successful with Marchand D'Or in the 2008 renewal, has two potential challengers in Moonlight Cloud and Zantenda.
Head said: "I was a bit disappointed with Moonlight Cloud at Ascot, but I think she could be better than what she showed there because prior to that she was very impressive in the Prix Maurice de Gheest.
"I am going to try sprinting with Zantenda and see if it is her thing. She will run at Longchamp [Prix de Saint-Georges] on Sunday over five furlongs and we will take it from there."
Sole Power was among 31 entires revealed on Wednesday for the Betfred.com Temple Stakes, which he won last year. It takes place at Haydock on May 26.
