Bangor to inspect at 7.30am on Friday
THE threat of overnight frost has forced officials at Bangor to call for a 7.30am inspection on Friday to see if racing can take place that afternoon.
The track was perfectly raceable on Thursday, buttemperatures could drop to -2C overnight and clerk of the course Ed Gretton has decided to call for an early inspection.
He said: "We have had no frost since before the new year, but it could returnovernight with lows of around -2C forecast.
"It's the floor temperatures that really matter, they can take a lot longer to rise and we will have to see what conditions are like in the morning."
