Above Standard gamble at Wolverhampton
A MONSTER gamble has developed at Wolverhampton in the 6.40pm, with the Michael Easterby-trained four-year-old Above Standard now a best-priced 9-2, from 25-1 this morning.
A maiden winner at the second time of asking, Above Standard was initially given a mark of 78, but that has dropped to 64 after six efforts in which he has failed to make the first three.
At Warwick, Light Rose has halved in price from 5-2 to a best-priced 5-4 for the 3.40pm, while ten minutes later at Bangor Silver Roque is now 9-4 (from 4).
At today's other all-weather meeting at Southwell, Bitaphon is now a best-priced 7-2 (from 5) for the first division of the 1m handicap.
