Clerk of the course Andrew Morris said on Wednesday: "Like many areas of North Wales we have been hard hit by the wet weather. The River Dee came over the flood defences last night and left a volume of water on certain areas of the course.
"The water is draining away now, but it is a race against time as far as Saturday is concerned, and we'll have an inspection on Thursday morning to take stock."
