Australia: Black Caviar will take on a field of non-Group 1 winning rivals for only the second time in 16 starts in Saturday's Goodwood at Morphettville.
The wonder mare has had at least one Group 1 winner opposed to her in all but one of her past 15 starts.
That was when she defeated Karuta Queen in the Group 2 Schillaci Stakes at Caulfield in October last year.
But she has scared off a lot of potential rivals with eight geldings taking her on, from the three-year-old Go The Knuckle to nine-year-old Victorian veteran Stanzout.
Watched by trainer Peter Moody, Black Caviar galloped well over 800m on the course proper at Caulfield on Tuesday morning.
