ASK will not be a member of the Sir Michael Stoute team heading to the Prixde l'Arc de Triomphe on October 4 and could instead reroute to Woodbine for the Group 1 Canadian International on October 17.
The Patrick Fahey-owned six-year-old gained a first Group 1 victory when narrowly denying Youmzain in the Investec Coronation Cup at Epsom in June and went onto occupy third place behind stablemate's Conduit and Tartan Bearer in a remarkable 1-2-3 for Stoute inthe King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot in July when last seen in action.
Stoute said: "Ask won't be going for the Arc."
The Sadler's Wells colt finished sixth to Zarkava in last year's Arc, but is likely to head to Canada for a race in which he was beaten narrowly by Cloudy's Knight in 2007.
Stoute, who could be doubly-represented in the Arc with Sunday's Prix Foy winner Spanish Moon under consideration along with Conduit, added: "Conduit is on course and we still have to make our minds up about Spanish Moon."
