The filly, who has finished behind her stablemates twice in the British Classics this season, was declared for the Group 1 on Wednesday, but trainer Aidan O'Brien said: "We discovered that Maybe had a stone bruise this morning after declaration time for Friday's race.
"The bruise has been opened and released and while we will leave a final decision about running until tomorrow, she has to be considered a doubtful runner."
That could leave O'Brien with just 1,000 Guineas winner Homecoming Queen for the race, who could renew rivalry with Guineas third Starscope, while Mick Channon has a strong hand with Laugh Out Loud and Samitar.
A total of 12 declarations were made, while for the King Edward VII Stakes a select field of seven are due to go to post.
Derby third Astrology heads the field, with Frankel's brother Noble Mission set for a first crack at Group company, with Thomas Chippendale and Thought Worthy also declared.
