'All systems go' for Rainbow View

UNBEATEN juvenile Rainbow View has reportedly taken her easy success in the May Hill Stakes in her stride and is now set to bid for a first Group 1 victory in the Meon Valley Stud Fillies' Mile at Ascot.

An impressive six-length winner on her Newmarket debut, the daughter of Dynaformer returned to Headquarters to contest the Sweet Solera Stakes and again won withher head in her chest.

She barely came off the bridle when taking last week's Group 2 event at Doncaster and Peter Shoemark, racing secretary to trainer John Gosden, believes she is still very much on the upgrade.

"Rainbow View did it very well again and you wouldn't really know she'd had a race, tobe honest," said Shoemark.

"The ground doesn't seem to make much difference to her as it was holding ground at Doncaster, softish ground in the Sweet Solera and fast on her debut. That is the case with most Dynaformer horses, actually, so it is an obvious plus.

"She travelled well at Doncaster and did everything right so we couldn't be happier withher and it's all systems go for Ascot at the end of the month."
