Second 9am inspection called at Lingfield
THERE will be a second 9am inspection at Lingfield on Thursday morning for the scheduled all-weather meeting later that day.
Officials had held a 6.30am inspection at the course, which was forced to abandon its meeting on Wednesday owing to snow-related safety issues, and passed the track raceable, but an additional check was called to assess the conditions on and around the course.
Temperatures dipped to -10.9C on Wednesday night and, should the meeting pass the second inspection, the going is standard.
