Ajmany the springer on otherwise quiet morning
THERE are a total of nine meetings in Britain and Ireland on Friday but despite the abundance of racing, or perhaps because of it, the markets have been relatively quiet throughout the morning.
Curiously, six of the meetings are this evening and it is in the final race at Ascot (8.15) where the most notable mover has come with the Luca Cumani-trained Ajmany backed into a low of 3-1, having been put in at 10-1 first thing.
Not much has been happening in the Chester markets although Clockmaker is 8-1 (from 12) for the 3.50.
They race over jumps at Market Rasen this afternoon where Jawwab is 7-2 (from 6) for the 2.25 and in the 3.30 Joker Choker is 5-1 (from 14).
Cloudwalker is 3-1 (from 5) for Lingfield's 2.35. AJ Cook is 11-8 (from 7-4) for the 6.40 at Hamilton.
