NORMALLY the best trial for the German 1,000 Guineas to be run at Düsseldorf on June 3, six of the eight runners have an entry in that race and the likely favourite for Sunday's trial is Paraisa (Andreas Wöhler/Josef Bojko).
She ended last season with an easy Listed win at Hannover after running third to stable companion Monami in the Preis der Winterköniginat Baden-Baden.
Wöhler said: "I intended to run both Monami and Paraisa here but Monami had to miss a couple of days work. It was nothing serious but she now goes straight to Düsseldorf. Paraisa is in very good form and whoever beats her wins."
Lady Of Budysin (Andreas Löwe/Andrasch Starke) could be the danger. She won her only start in good style and her trainer has an excellent record with three-year-old fillies and won this race last year. She is a half sister to Melbourne Cup third Lucas Cranach.
Mario Hofer also has chances here and saddles two runners, Survey with stable jockey Terry Hellier and Enjoy The Life with Eugen Frank. Survey is very consistentand runs in the colours of racecourse president Eckhard Sauren.
The only foreign runner is Absolutly Me (Henri-Alex Pantall/ Pierre-Charles Boudot), who, after winning her maiden at Saint-Cloud, has twice finished third in decent company.
Tom Queally and Freddie Tylicki have been booked for outsiders Liszar Jo and Molly Filia but both will need to raise their game to figure.
