THOMASGAINSBOROUGH, beaten at Dundalk on his reappearance earlier this month, will be a rare runner for Aidan O'Brien in Wednesday's Investec Derby Trial at Epsom.
A field of six have been declared for the mile and a quarter contest, which for the first time guarantees the winner a wildcard entry into the Investec-backed Classic on June 2.
Wednesday's trial has also been given an injection of £20,000 to the prize fund to make it a £50,000 contest.
Mister Music, second in the Feilden Stakes at Newmarket last week, represents Richard Hannon, while John Gosden will bid for a second win in the race in the space of four years courtesy of Unex Michelangelo.
Redcar maiden winner Cameron Highland, Glorious Goodwood scorer Goldoni and the Mark Johnston-trained Cravat complete the line-up
