Mastercraftsman heads five-strong O'Brien team

MASTERCRAFTSMAN, unbeaten in three starts and the winner of the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes last month, heads a team of fiveAidan O'Brien-trained runners for the Group 1 Bank Of Scotland(Ireland) National Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.

Eight horses are declared for the 7f event which O'Brien, who will also be represented by Drumbeat, Indian Ocean, Sea Of Marmara and Set Sail, will be attempting to win for the seventh time.

Arazan, impressive winner of the Group 2 Futurity Stakes over the same course and trip last month, will representJohn Oxx, who will be seeking his thirdwin in the race, while Mark Johnston's Shaweel, winner of the Gimcrack Stakes, and Coventry Stakes and Railway Stakes runner-up, Intense Focus, whose trainer Jim Bolger won the last two runnings with Teofilo and New Approach, complete the line-up.

Intense Focus will be blinkered for the first time.
