McCoy rides Prince Of Fire in MCR Hurdle

TONY McCOY will ride Prince Of Fire in Sunday's MCR Hurdle at Leopardstown.

With McCoy on the Charlie Swan-trained 12-1 shot, 5lb-claimer Mark Bolger will ride JP McManus's other runner Alpine Eagle, who shares top weight of 11st 8lb with Slieveardagh.

A field of 26 was declared for the €100,000 handicap on Friday, with only Day Of Destiny (33-1), Doctor Deejay (16-1) and Marlay Park (25-1) withdrawn.

With the weights rising 6lb, no runner will be out of the handicap and Mutadarek, at the bottom of the list, is set to race off 9st 10lb under Stephen Gray.

Capellanus, thesubject of a substantial gamble earlier in the week, is the mount of Andrew McNamara, while Andrew Lynch has been entrusted with Some Slam, also well backed ante-post.

Ante-post favourite Prima Vista will be ridden by Paul Carberry and second-best Tijuana Dancer will be ridden by Timmy Murphy, while amatuer Robbie McNamara will ride third-best New Phase.
