The eight-year-old, who landed the Grade 1 Bar One Racing Drinmore Novice Chase two starts back, took a crunching fall on his latest outing in the Racing Post Novice Chase at Leopardstown in December.
His task, however, wasmade easier when main market rival Blackstairmountain was withdrawn on Saturday morning but he put in a solid round of jumping on his way to an 11-length success.
Bog Warrior is a general 12-1 chance for the RSA Chase and a top-priced 16-1 shot with Ladbrokes for the Racing Post Arkle Chase but trainer Tony Martin said he was unsure whether he would take up a Cheltenham entry next month.
He said: "It's good to get him back on track as he got a fair fright at Christmas. I don't have a clue where we'll go now, I wouldn't like to subject him to good ground."
