Blazing Bailey all set to make his chase debut

BLAZING BAILEY, a seven-length winner of the Grade 1 Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle at Punchestown in 2008, is ready to make his debut over fences.

The talented eight-year-old, trained by Alan King, had several chase entries this week but the weather has put paid to those engagements.

In his exclusive column in Wednesday's Racing Post Weekender, King says: "Initially I was apprehensive about him tackling fences, but he has allayed those fears with some fine schooling.

"He has jumped around 30 fences at home and appears to really enjoy it. We will just have to see where the weather relents as to where he will make his debut."
