DRUMNA ICE, the 11-10 favourite, was an impressive winner of the £3,000 Showsec Scurry Cup final at BELLE VUE on Thursday night.

Charlie Lister's ace roared into the first bend and, aided by trouble inside, slipped clear to beat Andy Heyes's local Judys Bloom by almost three lengths in 15.22sec.

There was a gala night of open racing at MONMORE where heats of four competitions, including the £8,000 to-the-winner Ladbrokes TV Trophy over the 835m course, where on the menu.
All four finals will feature on next Thursday's card which will be shown live on Sky Sports where the TV Trophy will be headed by Blonde Reagan.
Ante-post favourite Storm Pockets went to post for the opening heat as a red-hot (1-2F) favourite but she failed to catch Mark Wallis's Blonde Reagan (8-1) who had built up an eight length lead with a circuit to go and stuck to his guns to score by a shade over one length in  52.19sec.
The second qualifier produced a brilliant finish. Bubbly Swallow set a fast and furious pace but was eventually collard by Aero Gaga (seventh bend) who seemed to have the race in the bag. However, Heather Dimmock's Lottes Girl (10-1) came with a wet sail from the final bend and got up on the line to score by the narrowest of margins in 52.58sec.
Tynwald Tom was quietly impressive when landing heat three. Terry Munslow's charge seemed to lose his chance when forced to the rear on the first two bends. However, showing great middle pace, he rallied gamely to head Pantone Ava at the seventh corner and kept on gamely for a near-three length success in 52.65sec.
Draw for Thursday's final: 1 Tynwald Tom, 2 Storm Pockets, 3 Aero Gaga, 4 Lottes Girl, 5 Pantone Ava, 6 Blonde Reagan (w).

A very busy night saw HENLOW stage the three semi-finals of the Gold Cup and marching into next week's £2,500 decider as the fastest qualifier is Bubbly Ebony.
The first semi saw Nick Savva's Westmead Bertie get first run on 4-6 favourite Droopys English and score by a length and a half in 33.75sec.
The second eliminator saw the in-form Paul Young kennel on the scoresheet when Bubbly Ebony made all in a time of 33.66sec.
Mark Wallis's Darian Chief showed good all-round speed to take the third qualifier - beating Blackrose Eve by almost two lengths in 33.79sec.
