LOCAL handler Elaine Parker took top billing at Sheffield on Tuesday when landing an open-race treble courtesy of Rooneys Twitter, Skywalker Louie and Ballymac Mead.

Rooneys Twitter, who won for Sheffield during last year’s Track Championship was losing his maiden statusas he held off Bowtime Regan by a head in a 480m contest, but Skywalker Louie was completing a four-timer as he made all for an impressive four and a half lengths success over Ballymackey Ace over 500m.

The treble was completed by Ballymac Mead, also over 500m, as she powered past early leader Stepaside Bigjak at the third bend to win by nearly five lengths.

There was another ‘home’ success when Jamie Smith’s Stepaside Glenis took the 720m open, but Ted Soppitt endured a frustrating night as he went 0 from 3, including defeats for short-priced favourites Skywalker Jack and Skywalker Gold behind Charlie Lister’s 28.51sec 480m debutant Fivestar Bessy and Mark Siddall’s Boherna Mac respectively.

**The draw for the Ladbrokes Golden Jacket can be heard live in Ladbrokes betting shops from 10am Wednesday.
