Lorrys gets green light for a Golden Jacket tilt

PICTURE: Steve NashLORRYS OPTIONS has been given the go-ahead to defend his Ladbrokes Golden Jacket title after convincing trainer Dean Childs that he was over the muscle problem which had put his participation in doubt.
“He’s been under a couple of different vets and physios,” said Childs yesterday, “and has responded really well.
"I wouldn’t have entered him unless I thought he was 100 per cent and he’s convinced me by doing acouple of hard gallops.
“All in all, he was held up for a week or so, but he’d had the racing at Hall Green in January so should be capable of doing himself justice on Friday.”
