ONECO FANTASY, an 11-4 chance, was a gallant all-the-way winner of Romford's fifth Bags/SIS 500 sweepstake competition on Thursday afternoon.

Maxine Locke's bitch got the better of Paul Young's Trixie Bear on the first two bends and then held a persistent challenge from Young Tokyo to score by a shade over one length in 35.47sec.

Nigel Saunders' bitch, who was sent off the even-money jolly, led at the first bend and was able to dominate thereafter to score by two lengths in a time of 28.34sec.
Brian Thompson's Kewells Way (11-4), strongly recommended by Pricewise at 12-1, was only one spot slower when making all of the running in the third eliminator.
The opener had seen Paul Gregson's Noirs Loch (5-1) take a scrappy heat in 28.66sec.
