Inca and Mia secure a double for Luckhurst

LOCAL trainers dominated the open action at Crayford on Saturday night with Julie Luckhurst taking two of the three events with Tarsna Inca (380m Bookmakers Sprint) and Crossfield Mia who made all in the 714m Stayers.
Tarsna Inca (5-2) managed to make all in 23.65sec while Crossfield Mia beat Springwood Bob by a shade over four lengths in 46.13sec.
The third open on the card, a 540m contest also sponsored by the local bookmakers, was won by Paul Tompsett's Fernhill Fury (6-1) - beating Julie Luckhurst's U Make Me Smile by 1 1/4L in 34.11sec.
**The feature race at Romford on Friday night was the Coral On TV Maiden final where Jim Reynolds' Oscars Cobra ran out an impressive all-the-way winner in a time of 24.27sec.
Earlier on the card Martin White's Bittles Bar was impressive when clocking a flying 23.75sec for the 400-metre course and that was followed by a 23.95sec run from Seamus Cahill's Rusheen Brave.
Other impressive wins on the card came from Paul Young's Fabulous Agenda who won the 400m Bitches' in 24.19sec and Mark Wallis's Ayamzaman (ex Mountjoy Osprey) who flew round the 400m course in 23.88sec.
