The Greyhound Board on Friday announced that it has licensed Coventry.  This is the formal Press statement:

Declan Donnelly, GBGB Director of Regulation said:

“The GBGB is pleased to announce that a racecourse licence has been granted to Coventry Dogs Ltd to restore greyhound racing to the Brandon Stadium in Coventry. As is the case for all types of licence applications, the documentation submitted has been subject to rigorous scrutiny and the track facilities have been inspected and comply with the high standards required of a GBGB licensed greyhound track. The Board wishes the new management every success with their new venture.”
