Paul Hennessy: Won his third Scottish Derby with Barefoot Allstar at Shawfield on Friday

THE £25,000 Bettor.com Scottish Derby final at Shawfield was won by the well-supported Irish raider Barefoot Allstar (7-4F).

Paul Hennessy's black, who was the only runner not to have won in the previous three rounds, blasted from the boxes and made all to beat a gallant Mill Bling Bling by one length in 28.76sec and give his trainer his third success in the event.
William Hill, sponsors of the English Derby, have cut the dog to 20-1 for Wimbledon glory.
The programme also included three £1,500 to-the-winner finals the first of which was the 300-metre Sprint at 9.05 which produced a fantastic buckle between Jumeirah Dubai and You Mind Me with the former getting the narrowest of nods in a time of 18.03sec.
The 500m shootout at 9.20 saw Harry Williams' Mags Gamble, the fastest heat winner, bolt to the front and, on the faster going was always holding the strong-running Droops Luisao by 2 1/4L in 30.23sec.
The Stayers' final at 9.40 went to Colin Redden's Anfi Gem who led early and stormed clear for a comprehensive 8 1/4L victory in a time of 41.38sec.

The Millennium Stand Bookmakers Golden Sprint semi-finals were the highlight of the Friday night meeting at ROMFORD and fastest winner going forward to next Friday's £8,000 to-the-winner final is Fancy Socks.
It was the first eliminator that saw Roy Griffin's well-supported bitch ping the lids and get first run on Blonde Snapper to make all and record a flying 23.79sec.
Gerry Ballentine's Diamond Cnoc surged clear in the second semi but, in the end, was all out to hold the rallying Black Silver by a head in 24.05sec
The third shootout, the heat of death, saw Keith Allsop's Slick Sian take full advantage of her inside draw to bully her way to the front and skip clear to beat Farloe Ashes (escaped trouble) by four lengths - also in 24.05sec.
Draw for next Friday's final: 1 Black Silver, 2 Fancy Socks, 3 Diamond Cnoc, 4 Slick Sian, 5 Farloe Ashes (m), 6 Blonde Snapper (m).

The card also included three heats of the Tony Williams Dual Distance Trophy - run over 575 metres and the final (next Friday) over the 750-metre course.
In the opening heat Paul Young's Coolavanny Fairy won the early battle and went on to make all in 35.77sec. Heat two went to Paul Donovan's Herecomestiger who led round and staved off a persistent challenge from Hee Haws Montana in a time of 35.53sec while Paul Young chalked up another winner in the third when Bubbly Blues made all in 35.60sec.
Draw for next Friday's final: 1 Bubbly Blues, 2  Carden Twilight, 3 Hee Haws Montana, 4 Coolavanny Fairy, 5 Honeypound Joe, 6 Herecomestiger (w).

The£750 Coral On TV Maiden Trophy final at 9.24 was won by Dave Mullins' Droopys Chase who broke fast and dominated from start to finish in a personal best of 24.12sec.
