THREE heats of the Coral on TV Bitches competition, which leads to a £750 final on Friday (live on RPGTV), were the highlight of the Monday evening Bags card at Romford.

The opening eliminator, for which red-hot favourite Fancy Socks missed her break, saw a gutsy all-the-way win for Chris Allsopp's 4-1 chance Jennas Pony.
She made full use of the pinging box to lead up but had to work hard to fend off a determined and persistent challenge from Around Corners - eventually keeping on best to score by 1 1/4L in 24.36sec.
Paul Young's Fabulous Agenda (7-2) made use of her inside draw as the field bunched into the first bend.
Emerging in front, she kicked on well from the second bend and was always comfortably holding Slick Seamist to win by a shade over four lengths in a speedy 24.15sec.
Ken Tester's Britania Lesley (2-1F) had looked very well drawn in heat three and so it proved.
Sailing around the outside of the pack to slingshot into the lead off the second turn, she was never troubled to beat Babys Fancy by 2 1/4L in 24.44sec.
Draw for Friday's final: 1 Jennas Pony, 2 Fabulous Agenda, 3 Slick Seamist, 4 Babys Fancy, 5 Around Corners (w), 6 Britania Lesley (w).

Two heats of the Betfred Mobile Lotto Standard Trophy topped the bill on Nottingham's Bags card the first of which saw Richard Gray's red-hot jolly Newmarket Flyway (4-9F) produce a workmanlike success in a time of 30.33sec.
Heat two of the 500-metre comp saw Pat Rosney's Little Gent make all of the running in a superior 30.12sec.

**In trials before racing at Nottingham, reigning Greyhound of the Year Taylors Sky warmed up for next week’s Betfred Select Stakes when clocking 30.11sec (+10) in a 500m solo, Charlie Lister’s dog steering a rails to middle course having clocked a 5.21sec sectional.
Another Select Stakes invitee, Paul Young’s Bubbly Phoenix, ran wide en route to a more modest 30.53sec (5.16sec sectional) and Champagne Club chairman Steve Fluin afterwards  informed members: “Apparently he didn't run the track very well, but it was his first look.
“I’ve asked Paul [Young] to take him to Ron Mills and have him vetted just to make sure that he hasn't picked up a minor injury in Tralee.”
